Reading and Leeds Festival line-up Dry The River and Pete & The Pirates have been confirmed to perform at Alternative Stage in this year.

Reading and Leeds Festival revealed some biggest acts in music

Reading and Leeds Festival revealed some biggest acts in music, who performed in this year.

But things are most proud of one of the Main Stage headliners but the Festival Republic stage show.

Previously headline for the event are Pete Doherty, The Horrors and The Midnight Beast.

There’ll be swaggering rock from Brother, electro-dance from Digitalism, and impassioned emo-rock from Rival Schools.

Other acts also joined on the stage are singer-songwriter Anna Calvi, rockers The Twilight Singers, indie-pop outfit Cults, LA hardcore punk band The Bronx in their alternative guise as Mariachi El Bronx, and indie-pop upstarts Little Comets, featuring none other than Jarrow brothers Rob and Michael Coles.

The bills for the Main Stage, NME/Radio 1 Stage, Dance Stage, Lock Up Stage, most of The Alternative Stage and now the Festival Republic Stage have now been announced, with the BBC Introducing Stage to follow.

Reading and Leeds festival warm-up shows headline the Vaccines

Reading and Leeds festival warm-up shows headline the Vaccines have have confirmed to perform in this year.

They perform the London's Forum on 23rd August and the Picture House in Edinburgh on 24th August.

Tickets for the show are on-sale now priced at £15 in London and £12.50 in Edinburgh.

The band's debut album was released on March which titled What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, was recently certified gold in Britain in more than 100,000 copies have been sold.
