Leeds Festival headline for top comedy to present at Alternative Stage

Leeds Festival headline for top comedy have been joined to present at Alternative Stage at this summer festival.

Mark Thomas, Russell Kane, Tim Minchin, Henry Rollins and Lee Nelson had already been confirmed to perform in this year.

Mark Watson's most successful new growth which stood award last day of the festival on Sunday August 28 in the comedy tent will be raised include roof.

On Sunday also include Saul Williams, an American known for his blend of poetry and alternative hip-hop, Late Night Gimp Fight, a sketch group getting a big reputation and Brigitte Aphrodite, who has been described as part Ziggy Stardust, part Victoria Wood. MC will be the naturally quick witted St Helens comic, Dave Twentyman.

On Friday August 16 Irish comedy hip-hop duo Rubberbandits are set to entertain alongside metalhead stand-up Andrew O’Neill, Canadian Craig Campbell, who has appeared on several TV shows in the last year, and Tom Deacon.
