Twelve young music are hoping to get in place Leeds Festival

Twelve young music hopefuls from West Yorkshire are hoping to get in place Leeds Festival, as the center stage for the final stage of the competition.

Sprayed Aces, The Mexanines, Inlaze and Neve will perform at the O2 Academy in Leeds on Tuesday 19th July.

Every secondary school in West Yorkshire for the competition were invited to put forward cases. Leeds Irish Centre on 12 April 40 the best in the heats were whittled.

Competition for Martin House children's hospice to raise more than £150,000 and last year started.

Sarah Smith, a fundraiser at Martin House, told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "We know how hard all the bands have been practising and how much winning this competition means. We are thrilled to be able to make this possible for them."
